Positive DOT Drug Test?

1. Face to Face Initial Evaluation

First, you will meet with a qualified DOT Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) who will perform a face to face clinical evaluation.

2. SAP’s Recommendations

Next, the SAP will recommend education and/or treatment. You will have a dedicated case ASAP manager to help you find the resources you may need. These recommendations must be completed before continuing to the final step.

3. Face to Face Follow-Up Evaluation

Last, your SAP will conduct a face-to-face follow-up evaluation to determine your eligibility to return to safety-sensitive duty and provide documentation to your Designated Employee Representative (DER) or to you if you are seeking employment.
